Plaza De Toros de Malaga | super 8mm film | Marbella, Espana

While Jose Villa and I were shooting a wedding in Marbella, Spain we decided to go to The Plaza De Toros! Some people may think this "sport" is very cruel, although to Spain Natives really take this sport serious. It was hard capturing this footage, and I only captured I'd say a PG13 version of it because it was too difficult seeing the Matadors ... well you know...

I shot some HOLGA pics for Dianna and Doug's wedding with Angelica Glass I love the the look of these FILM images. Their wedding took place in Dalmunzie Castle, which is located in North Perthshire, Scotland! This was the coolest little castle in the middle of rolling hills and beautiful trees.

georgia's b-day | Super 8mm film | Toast of Santa Barbara

It was a blast shooting super 8 mm film for Georgia's B - Day! Kim Curtis of TOAST Santa Barbara  knows how to throw a kid party! Look at the color on those overgrown flowers, and beautiful details! I didn't even know a kid's party could be this fun with trampolines and all! If you are looking to have the coolest party, Kim Curtis and Ashley Alleman from TOAST of Santa Barbara are THE people for the job! Thanks for such a wonderful time!

I had the pleasure of being a guest at a vow renewal for my friends Jill and Rob! Jill Lafleur is an amazing event designer and I had the opportunity to work with her at Mar of TEAM hair and makeup's wedding in the beautiful Hacienda El Carmen In Ahululco Mexico, where she did some coordination that day. Jose, Jill, Rob, and I had the opportunity to travel throughout Mexico for Mar and + Elan's wedding ... we ran into some car trouble with a flat tire at 2am and since then have bonded incredibly. When Jill and Rob asked me to be a guest at their vow renewal I could not resist bringing my super 8mm camera along ;) Thank you Mindy Rice for such beautiful flowers and decor the day of

A few post ago, I featured some of Mar and Elan's HOLGA photos that I snapped at their wedding in Mexico, now here is the super 8mm film. I loved this film, I think the color looks awesome and the black and whites look absolutely dreamy. Thank you Mar and Elan for having me capture your wedding celebration!

HOLGA Camera = inspiration with friends ;)

I recently took a trip to Mexico, where I visited the states of Cancun, Campeche, Merida, Quintana Roo and several cities and towns along the way. This trip was just a an inspirational one and all we brought along were plastic HOLGA cameras ;) This trip was awesome and I cant wait to go back!! I traveled with Jose Villa and Jen Curtis thanks guys for such an amazing time!

A Hacienda Wedding

I had the awesome opportunity to document Mar and Elan's wedding In Ahulalulco Del Carmen Jalisco Mexico! The wedding took place at Hacienda El Carmen

Mar fell in love with this location when she came along to style Jose Villa's Workshops and at first sight she mentioned "this is where I am getting married" She then later traveled back with Elan and they both agreed this was the place to have their wedding. Mar is owner of Team Hair and Makeup Mar truly has a gift for makeup and hair design. Elan is owner of a very unique import business where he travels the world in search for one of a kind pieces, as well as an awesome surfer ;)

Here are some Holga shots I took as well .... I'm so in love with the light leaks and how unpredictable film can be! I cant wait to see their super 8mm footage!

the jose villa mexico workshop

I am so excited to show this clip here on my blog! This last November I traveled again with Jose Villa to his Mexico Workshop where I met some talented Photographers from all over the states and the world ;) This workshop takes place in the AMAZING Hacienda El Carmen right smack in the middle of sugar cane fields and agave.
